14-year-old Martin bowled in all 14 games, maintaining a strong average throughout the weekend.
Her overall average, at 171.5, saw her approached to join the President Shield squad to represent Victoria.
She has also made the All Star team and is currently ranked as the second highest in the club.
Martin started bowling competitively in 2011 but said she didn’t expect to make a state side.
Martin has previously bowled in the junior and senior Emerson Shield as well as the Country Cup.
While Martin also plays tennis, netball, and volleyball she said she enjoys ten-pin bowling because it is something different.
Martin’s junior team finished in third position at the tournament with a final heart-stopping game against Ballarat.
Latrobe Valley secured first place while Bendigo finished second.
