His family are all Bulldog fans including his daughter Tahnee Walker and grandchildren and Indra.
Mr Waterston said he is getting involved ahead of the big game.
I have watched all the television football shows and read all the articles just to soak it all in, he said.
The life long Bulldogs fan said the club is a big part of his life.
I have been a fan for 40 years at least and a member for 25 years, he said.
Mr Waterston said it could be a big weekend in more ways than one.
Our coach and players deserved a great big pat on the back, he said.
I am absolutely confident we will win.
Our speed on the outside will get them.
I have already told my wife if they do happen to win, I will be staying down there for a few days.
It is something I would have to go out and celebrate if we did win.
