THE role women play on farms will be celebrated as part of Chicks in the Sticks on Friday. Chicks in the Sticks aims to entice women involved in agriculture to learn more about sustainable agricultural practices. Chicks in the Sticks involves farm tours as well as dinner and guest speaker, starting with a farm close to Stawell, which grows wattle seeds.
