Danisch started bowling when he was nine years old, with mother Michelle and father Rick.
His love for the sport refuses to waver, with his most recent achievement topping all.
Danisch was accepted into the under-18 Victorian lawn bowls squad earlier this month and will head to its first development day in Melbourne on Sunday.
He will also play in Saturday’s division one game for Dimboola one against Coughlin Park one at 1.30pm at the Dimboola greens.
Danisch finished runner-up in the men’s singles last year at Dimboola Bowling Club, defeating players with up to 40 years experience. Mum Michelle said Danisch was proving bowls was a sport for everyone.
“His success will help people realise it is not an old person’s sport at all,” she said.
“At 15 he has more confidence and maturity and is able to cope at the squad level. He is ecstatic.”
