Last Monday, Davis completed every tenpin bowlers goal, scoring a perfect 300 at the alley.
Davis started tenpin bowling in Melbourne when he was just eight years old.
He found his passion and quickly took up started competing in league bowling.
He has represented in the Horsham junior team and the Emerson Shield team countless times.
Davis said he was excited to have achieved the score.
“It has always been a goal of mine,” he said.
“It was absolutely awesome.
“I did get a bit nervous and and started shaking at the end there.”
It has always been a goal of mine
- Daniel Davis
Davis is only the 5th Lanes and Games member to have bowled a 300.
Davis said he had high hopes to improve his series.
“I bowled a 728 on Monday so I would love to bowl 800 now,” he said.
While Davis has been hard at it for many years, his style is a little different to the norm.
He uses two fingers as opposed to his thumb and utilises just one hand instead of two.
He was forced to find a way around it after a fencing accident damaged his finger.
“It is not a conventional style of bowling but I worked around it.”
