A good Samaritan who dobbed in an erratic driver helped police catch a driver just as he was pulling into his driveway, blowing more than six times the legal alcohol limit.

A 40-year-old Cranbourne East drink driver was picked up outside his home by police about 1.30am on Monday after police got a tip from a concerned witness.
The good Samaritan spotted a 4WD being driven erratically along Linsell Boulevard, followed the car and contacted police.
Endeavour Hills police arrived at the address as the 4WD was pulling into the driveway.
The man was taken to a nearby police station, was given a breath test and recorded a result of 0.316 per cent.
He is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving related offences.
