Buangor were outclassed by a dominant Ararat side 42 games to 106 to collect all 10 points that were on offer.
Buangor pair Tim Hartwich and Guy Lewis were the only team to defeat an Ararat pair of Alex Drosg and Kaiden Walton 9-8.
Ararat won the other two matches in the mens division.
In the womens division it was a clean sweep for Ararat after Buangor won all three of its matches.
Sophie Dyer and Caitlin Ridgway made it four games to nine for Buangor in the closest result.
Lewis and Ridgway combined to win their match in the mixed doubles against Walton and Will Hamilton.
Elmhurst was up against Crowlands and losing 56 games to 68 and split the points and collect four while the visitors left with six of their own.
Two of the three mens matches finished with a margin of three games or less.
The only exception was when the final match was suspended due to heavy rain.
Linden Murray and Riley Hamilton lead Hayden Price and Doug Newberry six games to two.
The womens side of the draw was a clean sweep for Crowlands.
Elmhurst womens pair Jenny Trengove and Mel Murnane did not win a game against a dominant Crowlands pairing of Jo Price and Kate Vance.
Landsborough escaped the bad weather that caused issues, as they had a bye on Saturday.
