Horsham’s Matthew Ough and Angus Tickner dominated for the Sharks setting six new records each, just behind Ballarat’s Riley Caldow’s seven.
Warracknabeal’s Lily Eldridge set five new records at the Horsham Aquatic Centre.
Nine clubs participated in the meet with external entries from Ballarat Swimming Club, Ballarat Gold and Hamilton.
The event was the district 12 debut for Grampians Swimming Club.
Competition was fierce, with the girls 50m butterfly ending in a tie as Shark’s Febey McClure and Gold’s Miette Hopper both finished in 35.68 seconds.
Sharks president Deidre Harrington said a large number of personal bests were obtained as well as records.
She said they were extremely pleased with the outstanding performance and looked forward to the rest of the season’s swim meets.
