St Michael’s and Central Park have both made it through the first three rounds undefeated but that is set to change after Saturday.
The top two sides will play each other, with St Michael’s hoping that home court advantage will provide it with enough of an edge to maintain a winning start to a title defence.
Elsewhere, sixth-placed Horsham Lawn Savage travel to Kalkee to try to register a first win of the season.
Fifth-placed Kalkee’s sole win this season came against Horsham Lawn O’Connor in the second round.
Savage found it tough going against O’Connor in the first round but has been hunting a breakthrough win in each round.
The final tie of the round sees a mid-table match-up between O’Connor and Drung South at Horsham Lawn Tennis Club.
Both sides have one win so far this season, but the Drung South team comes into the round with confidence after defeating Kalkee in round three.
A Special
NATIMUK and Telangatuk East will each look to consolidate its early season position on the A Special ladder when the teams meet at Natimuk.
The sides have only lost one tie each, meaning the winning side will stay in touch with the competition leaders while the loser will slide down the table in a round where many of the other top sides face clubs which have so far struggled.
Top-placed Brimpaen face off against sixth-placed Haven at Haven.
Third-placed Central Park host St bootom-of-the-table St Michael’s. The final tie of the round pits fourth-placed Homers against Drung South.
A Grade
QUANTONG, Noradjuha and Brimpaen will each look to extend unbeaten starts to the season in A Grade when taking on Horsham Lawn, Kalkee and Haven.
Horsham Lawn is the only side of the three that has notched up a win this season but the threat of an upset remains.
The other fixture sees Central Park host Laharum, which is yet to register a win.
B Special
IT will be a top of the table tie in B Special when Drung South and Laharum play.
Drung South will start favourites thanks to wins in its first three fixtures.
Laharum fell short against Horsham Lawn in round three but will have home court advantage on its side on Saturday.
Horsham Lawn chases win number three for the season when it travels to take on the Natimuk side, which has one win.
The final fixture of round four will see Haven Black take on Haven Green for club bragging rights.
