The Lions Club of Balmoral District will offer 20 red gum trophies to be won across all classes, and there will be sections for hot rods, vintage cars, motorbikes, small engines and 4X4s.
Organiser David Appleton said the money raised from the event will go towards a fund to help Balmoral’s community organisations such as the Bush Nursing Centre or the Men’s Shed.
“The school kids sell snags and that helps pay for their year 12 jumpers and we help provide footballs, tennis balls and cricket equipment to our kids’ teams,” he said.
“Last year we helped to buy a new wheelchair for one of the locals who has had a disability since birth.”
The show will run from 10am to 3pm on October 30 at the Balmoral Recreation Reserve.
Entry is $5 and show vehicles will be admitted to the competitions for a gold coin donation.
