Ambulance Victoria said the man airlifted to hospital following a single car crash on Concongella School Road was in a serious but stable condition.
The man was flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital after his Land Rover rolled on Friday morning.
Spokesperson Lisa Hind said he was found in a car resting on its side.

A man, 42, has been airlifted to a Melbourne hospital after his car rolled on Concongella School Road at about 9am on Friday morning.
Stawell police Sergeant Pete Young said the driver of a Land Rover lost control before his car rolled off the road.
He said the man sustained serious injuries and possible head wounds.
Police are still investigating the incident.
