Prior to making the decision, the club sought feedback on three proposed options.
Members chose between the jumper remaining the same, reverting back to a traditional royal blue and gold jumper, or the graduated design.
Club president Brett Wheaton said that 70 per cent of the respondents wanted a change.
“Our on-field uniforms weren’t matching our off-field colours and it’s been a hot topic at the club,” he said.
“The idea behind the new jumper is that the club is more united across our different sports.”
The football team will join the netball and hockey teams in wearing a graduated light to dark blue on-field uniform, while off-field supporter wear will remain the same.
“The next step is to get league approval once we’ve placed our new sponsors on the jumper,” Wheaton said.
