HORSHAM police believe a bomb threat called into Horsham Primary School’s 298 campus is linked to nine other hoax threats across the state.
Sergeant Jason Bergen said the school received the bomb threat about 10.10am on Thursday and evacuated.
“A comprehensive search of the school and grounds were conducted with nothing suspicious located,” he said.
Students returned to class about 12.30pm.
“The school got students to a safe location, they had them all accounted for,” Sergeant Bergen said.
“They did the right thing, it was well run.”
Victoria Police investigations are ongoing.

HORSHAM Primary School principal Chris Walter has praised the work of staff, teachers and students during the 298 campus evacuation.
Mr Walter said the school followed procedures and staff did a great job with students.
“We received a phone call this morning and enacted emergency plans,” he said.
“We made sure students were safe and worked through processes with police.”
Mr Walter said students and staff were back in the classroom as usual.

They said classes have resumed.

HORSHAM Primary School have asked parents not to panic or collect their children after the school evacuated after a threat.
The school said children are totally safe.
No other Horsham schools have received threats.

HORSHAM Primary School’s 298 campus has been evacuated, as a number of schools across the state deal with threats.
Victoria Police said a number of schools across the state had received a threatening phone call on Thursday.
Horsham Primary 298 students and teachers were evacuated on Thursday morning as police blocked off a section of Baillie Street, Horsham and turned away traffic.
In Ballarat, Black Hill school has moved children from the school buildings following a reported bomb threat.
At least one school in Bendigo has also been evacuated.
The schools have enacted their emergency management plans as a precaution.
Police asked anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report to www.crimestoppers.com.au.
In February, Horsham Primary School was evacuated after an alleged bomb threat.
The threat later turned out to be a hoax.
