During November, the male members of the BCG Movember team allowed their facial hair to flourish and have raised $650 so far.
The team included captain Chris Cook, Cameron Taylor, James Murray and Jake Gleeson, with support from visiting consultants Ramesha Shimoga and Chengappa Chottera
“The aim of Movember isn’t about who can grow facial hair,” Mr Cook said.
“The purpose is to raise vital money for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and male mental health.”
Mr Cook said the charity suited BCG well, particularly after two droughts and a subsequent focus on farmers’ health and well-being.
