Dimboola Movember co-ordinator Colin Campbell said the group had set a target of $5000.

“We haven’t added up the final figure but that’s pretty close,” he said. “It’s not so much about the money, it’s more about getting blokes involved and raising awareness. But we’ve raised between $4000 and $6000 a year for six years so it has started to add up.”

The activities included a fun run and walk with 4.5-kilometre or two-kilometre options, which saw about 50 people take part, and an auction.

Knives, T-shirts, boxer shorts, Bulldogs prints, basketball tops and other football items were put on the block to raise money.
