He finished with a score of 58 out of 60 after a lengthy shoot off with Gary Hargreaves to claim the title.
The 2016 club championship was won by Gavin Horrigan with a score of 760 out of 805.
Wayne Calaby won the overall and AA grade honours in the 20 target points score graded championship.
Calaby shot a near-perfect score and missed only one target to finish with a score of 77 out of 78.
Bill Harris finished in second place with 74 out of 78.
The top honours of the Christmas shoot were shared in the AA grade with Gavin Horrigan, Stewart Forbes and Gary Hargreaves all finishing at the top.
Gavin Horrigan also won the Wayne and Dianne off the fence event with a perfect score of 11 out of 11.

Robert Jorgenson topped the A Grade standings ahead of Sara Kosch and Murray Schaper.
The B Grade winners was Robert Porter with Tanya Perry and Maurice Perry rounding out the podium.
Brodie Hunter claimed the C Grade title with William Carnes in second place and Doug Harris in third.
Peter Tate and Gavin Horrigan shot a perfect score of 30 in the 10 target points score event.
It was a four-way tie in second place after Clint Dudman, Stewart Forbes, Wayne Calaby and Doug Harris shot 29 out of 30.
It was the final day of shooting for the club for 2016.
