There were 21 seniors and three juniors who took part in the Stawell and District Angling Club run at Lake Fyans last Sunday.

Despite a total of 28 redfin and one brown trout being caught it was the story of Ryder Davidson that provided the biggest highlight.
Davidson took out the junior section with two redfin weighing 0.667kg.
In the senior division Doug Collins scored with nine redfin weighing 6.636kg.
He took out top honours from Ray Howard who caught four redfin at 3.77kg.
Dave Wilson had a great day landing five redfin of 2.195kg for third.
The heaviest fish for the run was a brown trout that tipped the scales at 1.599kg caught by Darren Smith.
That was the last run for the year with the clubs breakup this Saturday at our Lake Fyans camping ground from noon.
All members are welcome.
The next competition will be an open water event sponsored by the Stawell Club and will be fished on January 15 from 7am till noon Sunday.
The weighin is at the Stawell Club from 2pm.
