Students will find out their scores and Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank, commonly known as ATAR scores, via text message or the internet from 7am.
Horsham’s St Brigid’s College student Malory Ryan said she was feeling nervous about finding out her results.
“However, I know I can't do anything to change my results and I know that it won't be the end of the world if I don't get the score I want,” she said.
“My exams went well – I tried my best with them all and I'm happy with myself.”
Malory wants to study mathematical science and secondary teaching in the future.
Kaniva College student Alannah Williams said she was in disbelief that the results of all her hard work through out the year would be given to her on Monday,
“I am feeling excited yet nervous to receive my ATAR,” she said. “However, I know that there are always other ways to get where I want to and that my ATAR does not define who I am.”
Alannah hopes to student a Bachelor of Nursing and Midwifery at Deakin University in Warranmbool.
Horsham College student Laura Smith said since the end of her exams she had been trying not to think about getting her results.
“I have quite mixed emotions about receiving my results,” she said.
“After the accidental release of some ATARs on Wednesday, I’m a bit worried and nervous about how I went.”
Laura said some exams were better than others.
“In some I feel like I didn’t do my absolute best, but overall I was fairly happy,” she said. “It’s hard to really know how you went without knowing results, so I’m keen to know how I actually did on the exams themselves.”
Laura said she hadn’t decided what she wanted to do next year.
“I’m hoping I get into physiotherapy at Monash University or nursing at Deakin University,” she said.
Horsham’s St Brigid’s College student Kayde Woolman said he hadn’t given Monday a lot of thought, but it would be good to see how it all went.
”My exams were not too bad – there were defiantly some exams I found better than others,” he said.
“I'm not really sure on what I will be doing next year.
“I'm interested in commerce and business but I'm also thinking about taking gap year and travelling.”
