A GREAT family day out, Horsham and District Harness Racing Club’s annual Pacing Cup event will be held on Sunday, January 8 from 1pm at Horsham Racing Centre.
Alongside a great day’s racing, there will be free activities for the family including virtual reality racing, a jumping castle, basketball challenge and gladiator battle.
Racing will get underway on the track at around 2pm with a heat of the Lattanzios Horsham Pony Trots Cup.
Make sure you are set before the official racing program commences at 2:14pm with the Samios Plumbing C1 Pace and concludes at 6.17pm with the Wimmera Bearings C1 Pace.
The Wimmera Mail-Times Horsham Pacing Cup is the 7th event on the card at 5.44pm and the Pegasus Spur at Woodlands Horsham Trotters Cup (race 5) is to be run at 4.34pm.
Tickets are $10 for adults, with children under 18 admitted free of charge.
Everyone at the Cup should try out the new Virtual Reality Trots experience. Just put on the VR headset and you are immediately out on the track immersed in all the hustle and bustle of an actual race, with a 360-degree camera revealing it all through eyes of a driver and with a live race broadcast by Dan Milecki.
There will be live entertainment and a big screen tv trackside to take in all the racing action and more.
