Children, teenagers and adults alike are loving the chance to bounce on over-sized cushions of air.
Horsham Lanes and Games manager Mel McKenzie said everyone enjoyed the inflatables.
“We do a lot of youth group Christmas parties as well as just standard youth group social parties,” she said.
“We also do laser tag, which is bookings only. We have to set up the walls and obstacles and we have a staff member come in specifically to run it.”
The inflatables are open every weekend from noon to 6pm, but in the school holidays open during the week as well. Horsham Lanes and Games does not just revolve around its inflatable activities, the business also caters for tenpin bowlers of all abilities.
There are 11 different league bowling divisions, as well as social bowling, which costs $13 per adult for one game and $22 for two games. Children cost $11 for one game or $18 for two. The business has indoor netball competitions for mixed and female players. The competitions start on January 30 and 31 respectively.
Horsham Lanes and Games also offers an indoor soccer competition.
Teams of five will kick off the season on February 1, with a mixed indoor tennis doubles competition to start on February 2.
The building also has a cafe and bar for adult parties.
Miss McKenzie said once a month the business hosted a school-age lock-in for primary and secondary students.
“It lets the kids play at the arcade, play laser tag and have unlimited tenpin bowling, as well as one hour on the inflatables,” she said.
“It’s just $15. We also have a pool comp every Thursday night. We have A Grade and B Grade teams.”
Miss McKenzie has worked at Horsham Lanes and Games for six years and said she planned on remaining there for a long time.
“It’s a really great place to work,” she said.
Opening hours are from noon every day. In the January holidays it closes at 6pm but for the remainder of the year it is open until 9pm.
Miss McKenzie said there was also a phantom ghost bowling league.
“If you can’t make a specific time every week you can come in and bowl at whatever time suits you,” she said.
“If you play in one of our leagues you get a lot of discount rates on bowling games, drinks at the bar and you get to meet a lot of people.” For more information, people can visit the Horsham Lanes and Games Facebook page or website or call 5382 5022.
