The Hornets will be on the road for one more game and face the Terang Tornadoes on Saturday at 7pm.
The Hornets have already secured second spot on the ladder, which means the side has at least one home game for the finals.
A full squad looks available to coach Cam Bruce ahead of the final game of the ordinary season, though a couple players are carrying niggling injuries.
Coach Bruce said his side was feeling good about the contest.
“We are pretty relaxed at the moment,” he said.
“We have secured second spot and we are in a good position to host a grand final.”
Bruce said the side would wait until match day before selecting its final line-up.
“A couple players do have niggling injuries. We will use this game as just getting another game under our belt before finals,” he said.
“We were away so long you could see we were a bit rusty playing together, especially after playing some really good basketball before the break.
“We did go away from that but I think this game will get us closer to our best. This game has come at a perfect time.”
Bruce said the side had some sore bodies and would have to manage its roster well in the away game.
“There will be a bit of rotating,” he said.
The Hornets hosted the Tornadoes all the way back in round one.
The side was treated to a tight contest, winning by three points, but Bruce said a lot had changed since then.
“It was the first game of the year and we didn’t know what to expect because they had recruited some good players,” he said.
“They are a very good side and we will expect it to be a tight game.
“Now that we have secured second spot we will try some different things on the court.”
Bruce said travelling for the last game of the round was something he and the team was looking forward to.
“There are so many fun aspects when you get to travel,” he said.
“We are a close group of boys who always enjoy going on the road together.”
