The home side continues to cling to its spot in the top four due to percentage, meaning the game is vital to the side holding onto its position.
Last time the sides met, Marnoo managed a tight victory, chasing down the score in the closing overs.
Stewart Macpherson and Brylie Cameron will be key with the bat for Marnoo, as will Cameron Rattray and Leigh Dovaston for Brim-Kellalac-Sheep Hills.
The game will more likely be decided by the bowlers though. Macpherson and Brim-Kellalac-Sheep Hills’ Chris McPherson have each claimed 14 wickets this season.
The fifth-placed Donald also faces a tough opponent. It plays the second-placed Birchip side.
Will Sheaton will be particularly difficult to negotiate. He has taken 16 wickets in his six matches for Birchip this season.
Dylan Ruurds and Sam Griffiths will be important if Donald are to score enough runs to win.
Based on form, top-placed St Arnaud should control its game against Jeffcott.
St Arnaud has not dropped points since its round two loss to St Mary’s, while Jeffcott has found it difficult to play consistent cricket. Hopetoun and St Mary’s play each other in the final A Grade match.
B Grade
THE deadlock between Birchip and Charlton will likely be broken this week in B Grade.
The sides have spent all but two rounds locked together on the same number of points but will face off in round 11 at Charlton.
Even in round one the sides could not be split when scores were tied after both teams were bowled out for 68.
The match between the sixth-placed Jeffcott and the seventh-placed St Mary’s sides at Warracknabeal will also likely be a close game.
Elsewhere, Watchem Panthers will host Brim-Kellalac Sheep Hills at Watchem and the final match will be a mismatch between top-placed Donald and cellar-dwellers Hopetoun.
