When doors at the church started sticking, the floor was inspected and it was found the building’s stumps had been damaged by storm water leaks.
Horsham Uniting Church office co-ordinator Jenny Payne said a new stainless steel stump system had been installed between the old stumps.
The first service in the main area of the church is on February 5.
“It will lovely to be back in,” Ms Payne said.
“The last service we had in the church was February 1 last year.
“We’ve continued to hold services in the foyer, but it is not as big.”
The opportunity was also taken to spruce the church up, with new carpet laid.
“It looks a little different and we welcome everyone down to come and have a look,” Ms Payne said.
“We’d like to thank the church community and the community as a whole for being patient with us.”
