Horsham Country Music Festival co-ordinator Lyall Wheaton said Ms Adams had been selected because of her natural flair for comedy, country music and songwriting. She has performed in Nashville, visited Australia on numerous occasions and is a regular at the Norfolk Island Country Music Festival.
Mr Wheaton said Ms Adams had been selected because of her versatility and love of comedy. She has written numerous comedy songs since she releasing her first album in 1992.
