Henley on Lake Wallace president Hugh Caldow said the amount of water in the lake had prompted dozens to turn out for the event.
“There were boats on the water at 7.30am and it didn’t stop all day,” he said.
“People loved seeing water back in the lake.”
Mr Caldow said three school reunions run in conjunction to the festival had also boosted crowd figures.
“People with family in Edenhope pick Henley as a great day to catch up,” he said.
Mr Caldow said the performance by aerobatic champion Chris Sperou and the evening fireworks display had been highlights of the festival.
