Students Sinead Kuchel and Joe Merrett are captains, while Victoria Verrall and George Wood are junior captains.
Sinead said she wanted to be a school captain to set a good example for younger students.
“I wanted to become a leader and be involved in the school and community in a different way than I have previously been,” she said.
Sinead said the captains were responsible for being the face of the school and would attend events such as Anzac Day and run weekly assemblies.
“Our responsibilities include being approachable to all students and to take care of their needs and wants within the school,” she said.
“I am thoroughly enjoying being school captain and I'm sure I will continue to be throughout the year.
“It's is a great opportunity to develop as a person and be the best leader I can be.”
Sinead said it was important that all students take on leadership roles to enable them to develop their character as a person.
“Leadership is a great characteristic to have and being able to lead a group is a great opportunity,” she said.
