Claas Harvest Centre’s Jade Hawker said the Agri-Spread machines had been well received with several sales to the Wimmera in recent months. “We’ve got machines built up in stock ready for the field days,” he said.
“Agri-Spread has been doing a heap of testing with these machines and can spread to 36 metres with urea and we are confident of those results.
“The ones we have in stock are on the money to reach 36 metres and the distributor has been really good to deal with.”
On the Claas front, the stand will be occupied with three various sized Scorpion telehandlers, and the latest Claas 5300 Quadrant baler.
“It’s the only one in the country at the moment so it should attract a bit of interest,” Mr Hawker said.
“There’s been demo programs in Western Australia and we ran demonstrations at the tail end of the season and there has been good interest in the longer chamber and beefier build.
“The buzz is all about high density and I can see the benefits in applications like straw baling to get weight into the bale and the 5300 will certainly do that.”
With harvesters, the Claas Lexion TerraTrac with a foldaway auger to suit controlled-traffic applications, will fill out some serious site meterage.
