A minute of appreciation was moved to thank Carol Paech for her year's efforts as group president.
The election of office bearers was conducted by CWA Victoria Agricultural and Environment chairman Susan Gass.
Other office bearers are: craft convenor, Lynette Crittenden, Murtoa branch; cottage booking officer, Margaret Murphy, Dunmunkle; international officer, Elaine Liersch, Dunmunkle, and social issues officer, Carol Paech, Rainbow branch.
Previous officers presented reports on the year's activities.
The best branch report was won by Willenabrina, which also gained the award for obtaining the most new members for 2016.
In her address, Mrs Gass spoke on her role at CWA Victoria, the new CWA Biscuit Cookbook, of which she is the editor. The book is to be released in conjunction with CWA Victoria’s 80th anniversary.

Dimboola branch members are reminded that the first meeting for 2017 is on February 24. Horsham branch members will meet on March 3 to receive a conference report from delegates. Competition is something depicting dairy.

Unfortunately, West Wimmera branch Kaniva has disbanded. I thank the members for their contributions to this column over many years. Kaniva branch formed in July 1933, closed in 1970, and opened again in 1983. In 2003-05 and 2009-2011 branch member Mrs Wendy Meyer was group president for West Wimmera.
