As part of the Western Bulldogs community camp program coming to Horsham, Daniel Giansiracusa and Rohan Smith put the squad through its paces in a variety of drills.
Wimmera region Rebels head coach Shayne Breuer was busying providing one-on-one feedback with players after a scratch match for most of the session. He said it was fantastic to have the two experienced footballers and coaches at training.
“Most of the drills they were being put through were game orientated,” he said.
“It just just shows you how much the game has evolved over the years.
“Fifteen or 20 years ago it was all about polishing the skills but now it’s about pressure and it doesn’t have to look as pretty if it’s effective.”
