The side completed a convincing 11-108 to 3-69 win on its home courts against fourth-placed Kalkee side.
Kalkee managed to split the four singles rubbers as Steve Schultz and Jeff Friberg got the upperhand against Chris Ellis and Ian Nitschke respectively before it went downhill in the doubles.
Schultz and Matthew Beddison were the combination to win when Ellis and Nick Robertson went down 9-3.
Jess and Steffi McDonald put in their usually strong performances throughout the day after dropping just one game between them in the singles.
Elswhere Horsham Lawn Savage maintained bragging rights with a win against Horsham Lawn O’Connor.
The side completed a 10-108 to 4-90 victory in what was the last hit out of a disappointing 2016-2017 season for both teams.
Despite the lop-sided set count the tie was evenly matched for a large part of the day.
Singles were split two a piece with Cherie and Graeme Wood notching wins for O’Connor while Brendan Nitschke and Tanya Sudholz won for Savage.
Savage got on top in the doubles but four of the remaining ten rubbers were each decided by no more than two games.
Drung South warmed up for a big clash in the first week of the finals by defeating the third-placed Central Park.
The tie, that was played on Drung’s home courts, was won 11-117 to 3-78.
It was a tough all day for Central Park. Skye Davis was her side’s sole single’s winner when she defeated Janelle Knight 9-3 and Central Park only other wins came by one or two games.
Telangatuk East controlled every aspect of its tie against Homers in A Special.
The first-placed side defeated the third-placed side 14-126 to 0-57 in what was a one very one-sided affair one week out from both side’s playing finals.
Central Park overcame Haven 9-100 to 5-81 in what was a last outing for both side’s this season. Central Park finished fifth on the ladder and Haven finished seventh.
Horsham Lawn Secured its spot in A Grade finals and jumped to third on the ladder after it defeated Central Park 7-80 to 5-82. A Horsham Lawn loss would have allowed Brimpaen to jump into finals after it defeated Kalkee 8-92 to 4-71.
Elsewhere Quantong defeated Laharum 8-99 to 4-73 and Noradjuha defeated Haven 9-96 to 3-57.
In B Special Drung South Dominated Haven Green 11-104 to 1-19 and Horsham Lawn outlasted Haven Black 9-94 to 3-49.
