There will be many young footballers stepping up, reserves moving into senior roles and fresh players to bring something different to the squad.
Beddison’s work ethic has been well regarded in the regions footballing scene with the veteran wanting his side to be hard working, committed and active club members.
It will be his job to find a suitable system for the side that has lost several midfield players over the off season.
Beddison said he looks forward to the challenge.
“We have a list of 5-6 players who have played predominantly forward or back and they will be tested through the midfield in a bid to strengthen that area of our game,” he said.
Beddison said the style will be getting some tweaks this season with an aim to improve the sides structure, set plays and will look to improve skills under pressure.
“We have a strong group of young blokes that I will be looking at to take the next step in their footballing this year,” he said.
It will be a test for the Tigers, the side finished 9th last season and have lost some key players but Beddison isn’t bothered.
The coach is ready for any challenge that lays ahead.
“I want to improve from 2016,” he said.

Who is the team to beat?
For us, each week will be a different challenge but as for league leaders; I can't go past Harrow-Balmoral and the Southern Mallee Giants, both teams were a cut above last year and I expect it to be no different this season.
What are you most excited about this year?
I'm really looking forward to taking on my role at the club this year, we have a young group of footballers, which I believe have a huge amount of potential. I look forward to seeing them improve as individuals and as a group and increase their self belief when competing.
What are your goals for 2017?
Our goal for 2017 will be to become more consistent in our game.
