Field days manager Murray Wilson said the awards gave credit and recognition to the exhibitions and the products on display.
“What we look for is the presentation of the site, and the representatives on each site,” he said.
“We also get feedback from patrons as well.”
The machine of the year award went to a Kuhne fertiliser spreader, which was on display at Belle-Vue Trading’s site.
Kuhne’s Jarrod Maskell said he was very proud to receive the award.
“It’s a new product offering for us as a way to enter the broadacre market, which is important in the Wimmera and Mallee regions,” he said.
“It’s exciting to win the award and as far as precision agriculture is concerned, you couldn’t get a finer product.
“Kuhne is very excited about this product, it’s the first of its kind in Australia and we are happy to show it off at the field days.”
Agribusiness innovation of the year award went to Turbodrum at the Ag Energy site.
Best outdoor agriculture site was Wimmera Small Engines.
Best outdoor general site was Stephen Pasture Seeds.
Best indoor agribusiness site was Precise Farm Solutions.
Best Moore Exhibition Centre site was Wimmera Aquatrail.
Best boating, camping and caravaning site was New Age Caravans.
Best indoor Country Lifestyle site was Out and About Clothing.
Best outdoor Country Lifestyle site was Mr Pure Water.
Best Country Gourmet Pavilion site was Chef’s Toolbox.
