Balmoral Show 2017 to feature dunny derby and parade

THE 2017 Balmoral Show will offer a wide variety of events.

The 129th annual show will be on Saturday from 9am to 5pm.

Activities include the annual sports shear, horse events including a horseman’s challenge, merino sheep classes, cattle, poultry and wool sections.

There will be free entertainment including a pet show and petting zoo and worm racing.

Restored engines, cookery, craft, photography and home brew will also feature at the event.

The famous dunny derby will be at 4.30pm and the grand parade will be at 3pm.

There will be an early bird breakfast from 7am to 9am and a barbecue tea from 5.30pm.

The show will be at the Balmoral Recreation Reserve.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for children and concession and $40 for families.
