Coach Leonie Lang said she looks forward to developing the Saints young talent into senior netballers.
Notable players that will be missing from the side include Laura and Sacha McDonald who will be playing for the Sovereigns Championship side this year as well as Teagan Lang and Georgia McLennan.
“We will need new combinations to step up - and I'm sure they will, especially with the return of Cynthia Watts and Monique Close,” Lang said.
It will be the first year the Saints will not fill an under-17 side due to lack of numbers.
“This is partly due to the club departure of the Lees family and Molly Mitchell which also means the senior teams won’t benefit from these talents,” Lang said.
It could be a long season for the Saints which won’t be able to match the very top teams in the 2017 season.
Lang looks to the bright side.
“While we may struggle to match the top teams to begin with, we're excited about the potential to come from all our grades and the improvement to come from our players,” she said.

What are your goals for the 2017 season?
Goals for the year include playing competitive, enjoyable netball and hopefully making the finals.
Who do you think will be the team to beat?
Teams to watch this year will again be Natimuk, Noradjhua-Quantong and Harrow-Balmoral of course, while the Giants have great potential also.
Any losses that you will have to work hard to cover?
With quality players such as Laura and Sacha McDonald, Teagan Lang and Georgia McLennan not being available to return to the club due to other netball commitments, we will need new combinations to step up - and I'm sure they will.
Especially with the return of Cynthia Watts and Monique Close into the A grade.
Sarah Jude will also be missing from the line-up as she looks to travel in 2017.
