The Falcons out muscled a young and relatively new Rebels side 129 to 47.
The Rebels started the contest keeping the paces with the Falcons with the score 22 to 18, the Falcons’ way.
It was down hill from there on with the Rebels scoring half the amount of points to the Falcons in the second quarter. The second quarter ended 54 to 32.
Triple digits were reached by the Falcons in the third quarter when the side tallied 109 points onto the scoreboard while the Rebels scored four more points.
Target practice will be needed to improve the scoreline in round two.
It wasn’t all doom and gloom for the Rebels with Thomas Berry showing great character on the oval.
