Brand’s 310 regular season runs came at an average of 22. He also contributed 20 wickets and took 11 catches.
His combined performances put him well ahead of Horsham captain Ash Hopper who finished runner-up.
Brand had 672 points to his name with Hopper on 615. Jon Fitzgerald, Horsham Saints Red, was third on 602 points.
The bowling average honour went to Leslie Butler who played for Horsham Saints Black.
In 12 matches he bowled just over 59 overs to claim 21 wickets at 10.9 a piece.
His best figures of 4-18 came against Homers in round 12 of the season.
There was joint winners when it came to batting average. Tom Wentworth, Horsham Saints Black, and Steve McQueen, Quantong, shared the award.
Wentworth was lured back to cricket late in the season and hit four half-centuries in five matches on his way to scoring 205 runs. He was dismissed only once giving him an average of 205.
McQueen impressed in a different way. He played more regularly in 13 matches during the course of the season. In his eight innings he accrued 207 runs but did not even give his wicket away once meaning he techinivally went without an average.
