HORSHAM branch members have been busy making 540 origami flowers, origami boxes and filled teddy bears at a recent craft day for Taylor Tenabel, granddaughter of branch member Jennie Mitchell, for the Royal Children's Hospital appeal.

Taylor, who raised $16,880.56, was the second highest fundraiser in the state.
The branch will hold a "Party Plan" day on April 23, from 10am to 3pm, in the Horsham CWA Hall, everyone is welcome.

West Wimmera group craft day at Nhill was well supported, with members making chicken scratching which was demonstrated by Marlene Schmidt.

Central Wimmera group branches and members are reminded of coming events.
Women Walk the World on April 30; group church service on May 7, at Beulah Uniting Church, at 11am, followed by changeover and lunch in the Keith Warren Fellowship Centre. All members are asked to bring a plate of food to share. On May 19 the group will hold its CWA exhibition at the Murtoa Mechanics Hall from 1-6.30pm, with the official opening at 1.30pm. Special guest on the day, Corinne Heintze, will be a highlight with her farm art wear display. CWA Victoria state conference and performing arts will be held at Shepparton on May 24-27, and the state craft exhibition at Warrnambool, August 11-12.

Central Wimmera group president Jenni Turnbull reminds members of the theme for the group entry for the exhibition at Murtoa - beetles, bugs, and butterflies, from which the group entry will be chosen for the branch entry for CWA Victoria exhibition.

April 22: May branch, sausage sizzle.
April 28: Dimboola, international day, invite a friend; country of study, Denmark; guest speaker, D. Horan; display, family heirloom.
April 30: CWA Women Walk the World, all branches.
