The Roos slaughtered the home side to the tune of 168 points. The final scoreline read 27.20 (182) to 2.2 (14).
The Roos yet again showed exactly why they will be front runners for this year’s premiership fight.
They kept the Tigers scoreless in the opening term, booting six majors and two behinds for a handy first-up lead.
The Tigers managed to break through with one major and one minor in the second term – but the Roos didn’t let up and led by 82 points at the main break.
The lesson just continued from there.
Sam Brewer was named best for the Roos and scored three goals. Callum Hobbs and Nic Pekin were also important.
Liam Jakobi, Brodie Mines, Todd O'Connor, Daniel Baker, Kyle Dumesny and Adam Dumesny were gallant in defeat.
