State Emergency Service met paramedics and police near Bridal Veil Falls, before the woman was carried out on a paraguard stretcher. 

Stawell SES duty officer Jenny Rooke said it was raining heavily and created very hazardous conditions on the rocks.

“She was camping up on the Peaks Trail so she was prepared, but the rain meant it was quite slippery underfoot,” she said.
