The Kees struggled in the opening two games with this match looming as a potential indicator of how the side will fare this season.
The Panthers, on the other hand, will hope to collect its second win in as many games after its strong display against Taylors Lake in round two.
Kees coach Hamish Exell said the side was striving for greater consistency.
“We played better last week but we couldn’t quite catch (Edenhope-Apsley),” he said.
“The team that wins this game will be the team who wants it more.
“We will be sticking to our game style.”
The Kees don’t have an overly tall team and will look to use their pace to their advantage.
“We don’t know a lot about (Rupanyup) and I think that is best. Everyone will be wanting to play their best,” Exell said.
“If we give a consistent performance, we will win.”
