Noradjuha-Quantong will host Taylors Lake at Quantong.
Both sides have been given their fair share of troubles early in 2017.
The Lakers had to form their senior team from scratch after a mass exodus of players in the off-season, while the Bombers faced several blows in round two and will have five players out in round three. Three of those five are injured and include Nigel Kelly (collarbone), Austin Smith (shoulder) and Ben Myerscough (ankle).
Despite the injuries, Bombers coach Heath Francis believes his side can put on a good show.
“It will be a hard task for the boys but we hope to have Nic Jenner and Lachie Wilson back in,” he said.
Francis said he would promote a couple of juniors to match up with the Lakers’ young talent.
“This week we worked on ball movement up the field and kicking into space,” he said. “We need to utilise the space a bit more as we don’t have the tallest team.”
The side will look to the experienced Jason Kerr, who has hit some good early form.
“Jack Vague has been great in the ruck and will be important for us, too,” Francis said. “(Taylors Lake) have a very good midfield and we will have to look out for the Milner boys who can sneak forward.”
