Psychiatry career begins

CONGRATULATIONS: Dr Alison Taylor with Professor Malcolm Hopwood, the president of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.

ALISON Taylor has been inducted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP). 

The induction occurred during a ceremony on May 1 at the Adelaide Convention Centre. 

Dr Taylor attended Laharum, Natimuk and Horsham West primary schools and Horsham College. 

She graduated in medicine from the University of Adelaide and trained in psychiatry at The Alfred hospital in Melbourne. 

She is now working as a consultant psychiatrist with Barwon Health in Geelong. 

Dr Taylor is the daughter of Rob and Sue Taylor of Wartook.
