After a closely fought first quarter the away team got on top and stayed there on the way to winning 36-31.
Scores were tied after the first quarter but the Wimmera team stepped it up a notch in the second to open up a 20-14 lead. The side edged further ahead during the third and had a seven goal buffer at the start of the fourth. There was still fight in the Murray side but the margin was too great.
Racquel Scott was awarded best on court. She played full game at centre in warm conditions but continued to drive her side.
