Expo co-ordinator Denise Daniels wanted people to bring their “unique” unfinished auto projects to the Holdens of Age Auto Expo, which would start at 10am and finish at 3pm.
“This is the first time we are holding the event and we are very excited,” she said.
“A lot of people have projects in their sheds that have never seen the light of day, this is their big opportunity to show them to the world.”
There will be a 1967 Pontiac Firebird and an “extremely rare” 1958 Ford Edsel on show.
There will also be trade stands for auto trade vendors, including demonstrations which could assist project ideas.
