The Kees will host the Southern Mallee Giants in round five at the Kalkee Recreation Reserve.
The Giants have gone undefeated since joining the Horsham District Football League and the side does not look to be slowing down anytime soon.
Giants coach Shaun Monohan said the side is feeling fresh after the interleague break.
“We enjoyed the week off and now we are keen to get back into it,” he said.
“We stepped up training a bit but not too much, we have mainly focused on ball work.”
A lot of players have been out on the farm with the crop and Monohan said that may be a reason the side has been down on numbers at the track.
“We are hoping to improve on our first quarters,” he said.
Inaccuracy in front of the sticks isn’t a problem, said Monohan.
“Blokes don’t mean to miss shots on goal,” he said.
The side has several niggling injuries but noting to be concerned about.
A player to look out for will be Sam White.
“Sam has been in good form and played well in the interleague game,” he said.
“I hope he can bring another good game. Kalkee have a lot of good young players and I heard Hamish Exell is a good footballer too.”
This will be the first time the Giants play at Kalkee.
