The fair will be on Friday and Saturday and all money raised goes to the college’s chaplaincy committee.
Committee chairwoman Yolande Grosser said the event would feature about 10,000 books and magazines.
Books are $1 each and children’s books and magazines are 50 cents each.
Mrs Grosser said people could still donate to the fair.
“People can drop off books at the college,” she said.
“It’s really lovely to see so many donations and what’s even more amazing is that people will come and buy them.
“With everything being electronic nowadays, it’s nice to get your hands on a book.”
Mrs Grosser said there would be soup and scones available at the fair.
“We have a little cafe there and food will be available for a gold coin donation,” she said.
“It’s a great opportunity for people to browse through the books and then take a break and have a cuppa, because we do have a massive amount of books to look at.”
The fair will kick off at noon on Friday and run until 9pm.
On Saturday it will be open from 9am to noon.
Mrs Grosser said the money raised would pay for the college’s two chaplains Kate Polack and Greg McKinnon.
She said the event usually raises about $4000 and she was hoping for the same this time.
There committee runs two book fairs each year.
The event will be at the Horsham College hall.
Mrs Grosser said the event was also a great chance to catch up with friends.
