Laser Plumbing and Electrical Horsham will donate a percentage of its profits to Rachael’s Wish every time someone hires its drain cleaning machine.
Managing director Matthew Coutts said the business wanted to create a relationship with the hospital and this was something his staff could be involved with.
The machine is used for clearing drains of roots and general blockages, meaning people can avoid digging up drains.
Wimmera Health Care Group acting chief executive Mark Knights said he was grateful for the support from Laser.
“We are excited to partner with Laser Plumbing and Electrical Horsham with their fundraising idea for the Wimmera Cancer Centre,” he said.
“This is another fantastic example of a Wimmera business supporting the project and finding a unique way to contribute to this very important cause.”
Mr Coutts said it was important to support the cancer centre.
“It is a service that will ensure people in the region continue to receive a high level of care,” he said.
“At what can be a stressful time, the support of loved ones can make a positive effect on their treatment and we are proud to be doing our bit to support this vital service.”
