The Southern Mallee Giants have been causing every side grief this season and is about to host the most improved side of 2017.
Swifts will travel to face the unbeaten side and have their sights set on an upset.
The Baggies have been in red-hot form this season, losing once to a resilient Edenhope-Apsley side by a solitary point.
Giants coach Shaun Monohan said his side was looking forward to the game.
“Obviously, it’s a big game – they are fourth and one and we are unbeaten,” he said.
“We need to beat the teams around us.”
The Baggies have been playing some great team football this year and Monohan said the Giants could win the four points simply by getting their hands on the ball.
The Giants have had an even spread of players contributing across the ground, and Monohan wants to continue sharing the load.
Monohan said he was imploring his side to be ready to start from the opening bounce.
“Every side wants to start well and hopefully we can do it this week,” he said.
Monohan is wary of Andrew Cameron.
“I saw he kicked seven goals last week and the boys who played interleague with him said he was handy,” he said.
“We’ll have to work out who’s the best match-up for him,” he said.
The side has been working on decision making and game simulation drills.
Baggies coach Scott Carey said the weekend was one of great opportunity for his team.
“It is a chance for us to put our best foot forward to see where we are this season,” he said.
“It will really show how much we have improved.”
Carey said he was not focusing too much on the end result.
“We will go in with goals we want to achieve,” Carey said.
“We will go up there confident to put in a good performance.”
Swifts could be without forward Ben Hustler, who is in doubt with a groin injury.
Hustler has kicked 14 goals in three games.
