Swifts under 17 player Sam Chatfield is the round four winner of the Blue Ribbon Foundation Spirit of Football award.

Sam is in his fourth year at the Swifts, having previously played in the club’s under 14s team.
He is a quick, versatile young footballer, playing mainly in the centre of the ground. Sam tackles hard but fair and shows good leadership skills for his age.
Sam was selected in the Victorian Indigenous under 15 Kickstart team, competing against teams from across the country.
Sam has previously won selection in the under 14 HDFL Allstars and was selected in the Western Bulldogs Academy this year.
Blue Ribbon Foundation Spirit of Netball round four winner is Rupanyup, 17 and under, netballer Kali Roberts.
Kali is a quiet achiever on the netball court and around the club. Playing the majority of her netball in defence, mainly in the goal keeper and goal defence positions. Kali has played several seasons at Rupanyup.
Kali has great pace and reads the play well.
She is well respected within the club and the league and holds the title of vice captain.
Playing her first senior game last season, Kali will become an important member of Rupanyup’s senior netball squad over the coming years.
WFL and WNA
The round three winner of the Wimmera Football League Spirit of Football award is under 17 Horsham Saints footballer Joshua Hedt.
Josh started his football with the Horsham Saints in 2014.
He was a member of the winning under 14 premiership team in his first season at the club.
Josh is a dedicated trainer and valuable teammate. On and off the field, Josh displays an outstanding team attitude at all times.
Whilst quiet in nature, Josh is a very determined player who enjoys the physicality of football.
Josh always displays a respectful attitude to coaches, umpires and opponents. The Horsham Saints Football Netball Club congratulate Josh on his sportsmanship.
