The Storm managed to defeat a resilient Rupanyup side 12.17 (89) to 4.4 (28).
Shooting inaccuracy for the Storm cost the side what could have been a huge win after scoring 10 minors in the opening term.
The side came out of the blocks raring to go and showed it with some success on the scoreboard.
After one quarter of play the side led the Panthers 5.10 (40) to 2.1 (13).
The game could have panned out differently if half of those minors were majors.
The Storm slowed down in the second quarter and scored just three times, the Panthers also struggled to score managing one major on three minors.
At half time the Storm led by 31 points.
Jeparit-Rainbow shut out the Panthers in the third term disallowing the side to score but managed three majors and four minors.
It continued to defend well, conceding one minor in the final quarter.
Storm player Sean Bayzand was named in the best for his defensive efforts and one per centers.
Lucas Edelsten also performed well for the side being named second best.
Jeparit-Rainbow coach Ash Clugston scored three goals, the most out of all players on the day.
